At West London Free School Primary, we partner with Aspens Services to provide nutritious and delicious meals for our pupils. Aspens is a specialist school catering company committed to serving freshly prepared, high-quality meals that support children's health and well-being. Their menus offer a balance of familiar favourites and exciting new dishes, catering to a variety of dietary needs. Aspens also helps to educate children about healthy eating, encouraging them to make informed food choices. Learn more about their approach here.

Please note that occasionally, our kitchen staff may need to adapt the menu on the day due to changes in the supply chain.

Allergy Menu Spring Summer 2025

Allergy-Free

Aspens are committed to making school meals safer, simpler and more inclusive for children with allergies. To achieve this, we are introducing a new Top 14 Allergy-Free Menu, designed to significantly reduce risk while still offering choice.

With food allergies on the rise, we recognise our responsibility to provide safe, nutritious meals. Our medical diet provision remains in place for children with allergies beyond the 14 key allergens, ensuring that every child has access to meals that meet their specific needs.

We are also proud to partner with the Natasha Allergy Research Foundation, supporting vital research into the causes of food allergies and ways to improve food safety. Natasha’s Law has already transformed allergen labelling, making food safer for millions, and we are committed to furthering this mission through funding, education, and best practice in school meal provision.

What does this mean for your child?

  • Choice remains – Children will still have meat and vegetarian options,

though selections may differ slightly from the current menu.

  • Greater inclusivity – All children with allergies will have access to the

same menu, ensuring they are not excluded or singled out.

  • Simplified, safer meals – Reducing complexity lowers the risk of allergen incidents, making dining safer for all.

We will be introducing a new top-14 allergy free menu along on our main world food menu after Easter.
